Newgate has officially launched Newgate Health Technologies (NHT), a new technology division established to build the digital infrastructure, intelligent systems and applications that will support the next stage of Newgate's growth.
Alongside the launch, Newgate is bringing on board a dedicated Head of Technology to lead the technical development of NHT and help turn the Group's technology strategy into reality.
The creation of NHT reflects a simple idea: as Newgate grows, technology should not just support the business — it should help shape what the business can become.
NHT will develop technology across the Newgate ecosystem, connecting areas including product development, manufacturing, quality, regulatory compliance, documentation, international registrations and commercial operations.
A major focus will be the development of Newgate's own apps and digital platforms. These will include internal tools designed to make the organisation faster and more connected, alongside consumer-facing applications that explore new ways of bringing together health, wellbeing and technology.
Artificial intelligence and automation will sit at the centre of this strategy, helping Newgate organise information, automate processes, improve decision-making and develop smarter digital experiences.
The recently launched CAR — Create And Retrieve platform demonstrates what this approach can deliver: technology created around Newgate's own operational requirements and designed to make complex information easier to manage and retrieve.
The appointment of a Head of Technology gives NHT dedicated technical leadership as the division begins developing its next generation of systems, apps and digital products.
Newgate began by developing health and wellbeing products.
